is to rationalise turning processes through specific use of automatic material and workpiece handling equipment on the basis of the loading technology of "through the lathe spindle". The loading technology almost always determines the achievable maximum in productivity on modern
CNC lathes.
Thanks to close linkage of the processes between lathe and
automatic loading and unloading equipment, completely new, far shorter cycle times can be attained.
