MULTI-CHANNEL BAR LOADER IRCO ELECTRO BAR FEEDER Material diameter: 3 to 130 mm
Material length: 3,000 to 6,000 mm The classic bar feeder for precision turning
operations 7 to 11 direct-access guiding channels PERFORMANCE PROFILE The universal,
proofed bar feeder for turning from the bar. During turning, the bar is guided
reliably by the guiding channel and a corresponding spindle filler tube, thereby
relieving the strain on the machine spindle. The IRCO electro bar feeder remains
an interesting machine today for jobs and lot sizes for which a bar loading magazine
is not needed. LOADING TECHNOLOGY The workpiece bars are pushed into the spindle
filler tube and chuck by a pusher, which is adapted in length to the lathe spindle.
The pusher force can be adjusted steplessly. The guide tube is swung out to the
operator side for loading of the electro bar feeder. GUIDING CHANNELS The guiding
channels are contained in the guide tube, which dampens vibrations and reduces
noise. Every channel has its own pusher. Pressure-free oil circulation and tight
guidance of the bars in the well-graded channels see to a high level of bar rotation
accuracy. SPINDLE FILLER TUBES Suitable spindle filler tubes can be manufactured
for every lathe. The spindle filler tube has to be replaced when changing the
diameter range being turned. This is done by swinging out the electro bar feeder
to the side in the same way as when loading bars. PROFILED STOCK The electro bar
feeder can be used for almost all profiled materials. It can also be used to feed
wood and plastic bars in oil-free operation. TYPE VERSIONS TECHNICAL DETAILS Drive
