bars are loaded and positioned directly in the chuck through the lathe spindle.
The lathe spindle is equipped with a suitable spindle filler tube to guide the
short bars. Thanks to the minimal set-up work required, use of an ILS short bar
loader is already worthwhile for small lot production. Compressed air is not needed.
LOADING TECHNOLOGY The workpiece bar is fed into the lathe in two steps. The bar
is first pushed into the spindle filler tube of the lathe by a driver. A pusher
rod then positions the bar in the chuck. The Active Damping System ADS ensures
gentle handling of the workpiece bars in the loading system. SPINDLE FILLER TUBES
FOR MAXIMUM PROCESS QUALITY Breuning supplies individually manufactured spindle
filler tubes for every type of lathe. Close guidance of the workpiece in the spindle
filler tube enables vibration-free turning, especially of square and hexagonal
bars. Suitable spindle extensions are available for workpiece bars that are longer
than the machine spindle. Quick-change spindle filler tube PROFILED STOCK Breuning
supplies specially manufactured spindle filler tubes for irregularly profiled
bar stock. To ensure safe reloading, the inclination of the storage rack can be
adjusted to the particular requirements. QUICK CHANGEOVER The separator and the
height of the guide prism are adjusted precisely and quickly by entering the diameter
of the material into the control board. To change the spindle filler tube, the
ILS-RBK short bar loader can be pushed to the side easily and quickly. Quick change
